I actually Univers, nothing wrong with Neue Haas Grotesk but since my typography teacher is nuts over this typeface I avoid it like the plague (its kissing ass basically), that and because designers lately seem to use it more as a fad than actually appreciating the beauty of this typeface. Though when all else fails for print graphics, Helvetica will always be there to save my ass. lol
Theres an awesome movie about this font. My Graphic Design teacher showed me it last semester. Taught me alot about this font. It looks so cool even though its used on just about everything. check it out. [link]
Actually at our sign shop we use Helvetica all the time. The other graphic designer uses Helvetica Bold as his default (I use Myriad Pro and Fruitiger personally. Impact for the bold compacted kind of stuff).
